Johnny Joseph Caro, 62, a native and resident of Houma, La., Sunday, Jan. 19, 2014.
Mr. Caro was a member of the Gold Wing Club for 16 years and was the eye chairman of the East Houma Lions Club for 18 years. He played Santa for the mentally and physically challenged for 12 years and loved to fish and be with his friends and family. He was a devoted husband, son, grandfather and uncle. He was the owner of Kitchen and Galley.
He is survived by his wife of 25 years, Rebecca Caro; mother, Dalrita Caro; sons, Jonathan Boyd and Hank and Jericho Verrett; daughters, Jennifer Kryvanick, Ericka and Alisha Verrett and Rebecca Cruz; brothers, Vyner Jr. and Byron Caro; sister, Melinda Liner; and numerous grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his father, Vyner Caro Sr.
Burial is at St. Francis No. 2 Cemetery. (Chauvin)
