Jonathan Bentley, 48, a native and resident of Raceland, La., died Saturday, Sept. 24, 2011.
Mr. Bentley was Baptist.
He is survived by his mother, Shirley Cleveland; son, Brandon Bentley; daughters, Brittany and Ashley Bentley; brothers, Wilbert, Morris and Joshua Bentley and Mark Ingram; sisters, Beverly and Marcelle Bentley, Phyllis Barrios, Stephanie Joseph and Sheena and Iesha Ingram; and one grandchild.
He was preceded in death by his father, Morris Cleveland; sister, Pepettra Guidroz; and grandparents, Moses and Ella Bentley and Lawrence and Aida Cleveland.
Visitation will be 12 p.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 1, at Morning Star Baptist Church in Raceland with services to follow. Burial will be at Young Ladies Benevolent Cemetery in Raceland. (Kennedy)
