Joni R. Poniatowski, 51, a native of Queens, New York, and resident of Thibodaux, La. died Monday, October 29, 2007, at 8:20 a.m.
She is survived by one son, Timothy M. Poniatowski; two brothers, Marc and Janek Poniatowski; four sisters, Kim P. Goodwin, Linda P. Post, Denise P. Fretwell, and Sofia P. McNeil; one grandchild, Cambria Poniatowski; her stepmother, Donna Poniatowski; her grandmother, Theresa Cousins; one adopted sister, Renee Knicely; her longtime friend, Gwen Webre; and her many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews; and many special and wonderful friends in the community.
She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Caroline Bermudez Poniatowski; and one brother, Anthony Vuolo.
A funeral mass will be held Saturday, November 3, 2007, at 10:00 a.m. at St. Luke Catholic Church in Thibodaux.
Thibodaux Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
