Joseph “Bee” Cargo, 57, a native and resident of Napoleonville, La., died at Leonard Chabert Medical Center in Houma, La., Sunday, July 27.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Jane W. Cargo of Napoleonville; three sons, Nathaniel and Joseph Cargo Jr. and Troy Williams, all of Napoleonville; one stepson, Jerry Wiggins of Napoleonville; two stepdaughters, Taneka Wiggins and Elaine Carter of Napoleonville; one brother, Michael Cargo of New Orleans, La.; two sisters, Barbara Johnson of Napoleonville and Ruby Cargo of New Orleans; 13 grandchildren; and numerous relatives.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Walter and Mattie Cargo; two sons; and two sisters.
Visitation will be 2 to 4:30 p.m. Monday, August 11, at Williams and Southall Funeral Home in Napoleonville and 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Tuesday, August 12, at Evening Star Baptist Church in Napoleonville. A religious service will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the church, with burial at the church cemetery.
Williams and Southall Funeral Home of Napoleonville is in charge of the arrangements.
