Joseph Nicholas “Nick” Malbrough Sr., 73, a native of Schriever, La., and a resident of Thibodaux, La., died at 12:30 p.m. Tuesday, August 5.
He is survived by his wife, Mary “Hazel” Rothman Malbrough; four sons, Joseph Malbrough Jr., David L. Malbrough, Thomas Halford and William Halford; three daughters, Jenell Grames, Mary Halford and Linda Fay Maroctte; two brothers, Ben and Felix Malbrough; three sisters, Corrine Landry, Velma Person and Lottie Duet; 25 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Angelo and Marie Louise Sanchez Malbrough; two sons, Jerry and Louis Halford; three brothers, Junius, Philip and Noel Malbrough; and two sisters, Rose Tyler and Louise Malbrough.
Visitation will be 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. Thursday, August 7, at Thibodaux Funeral Home with a religious service to follow.
Thibodaux Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
