Joseph “Paran” Julius Boudreaux, 85, a native of Terrebonne Parish, La., and a resident of Houma, La., died Monday, October 27.
He is survived by his wife, Shirley “Pinky” Ledet Boudreaux of Houma; two sons, Julius Boudreaux and wife Therese of Bourg, La., and Ronnie Boudreaux of Houma; one daughter, Paulette Boudreaux of Bayou Blue, La.; four grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Clemile Boudreaux and Alice Lirette Boudreaux; one daughter, Jo Ann Boudreaux; one grandson, Capt. Steven Boudreaux; four brothers, Givest, Anthony, Ernest and Bruce Boudreaux; and six sisters, Mrs. Morris Authement, Mrs. Robert Bergeron, Miss Olivia, Miss Irene, Miss Ignolia and Miss Aurilene.
He was a parishioner of Holy Rosary Catholic Church. He was retired from the Louisiana Highway Department and the owner of Houma United Cab Co. He was a U.S. Army Veteran, serving in World War II.
Visitation will be 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Thursday, October 30, at Holy Rosary Catholic Church with mass to follow. He will be buried at the church cemetery.
