Joseph Albert Trahan Sr., 89, a native of New Orleans, La., and resident of Houma, La., died at 7:30 p.m. Monday, Feb. 7, 2011.
Mr. Trahan was employed with Terrebonne General Medical Center. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather.
He is survived by his wife, Doris Guillot Trahan; sons, Joseph Jr. “Jay” (Tori), Jim (Rebecca), Danny (Phyl) and Ronnie (Cindy) Trahan; daughters, Susan (Jim) Tuttle and Kathy Achee; 19 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and sister, Rita (Lester) Bourgeois.
He was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Florence Chauvin Trahan; brothers, Noble, Berwick and Charles Trahan; sisters, Della Guidry, Margie de la Bretonne and Janice Trahan.
She is buried at St. Francis de Sales Cemetery No. 2. (Chauvin)
