October 13, 2010Joyce Shelton Harvey, 94, a native of Orange, Texas and resident of Golden Meadow, La., died at 8 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 6, 2010.
Ms. Harvey was Presbyterian.
She is survived by her son, Ernest (Rema) Amos; three grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and 16 great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, J.P. Harvey; parents, Guy and Hattie Jones Shelton; two grandchildren, Clement Joe and Melba Ann Amos; and two sisters, Margaret Johnson and Dorothy Shelby.
She is buried at Cheramie Cemetery.
