Juanita “Nita” Williams, 75, a native of Terrebonne, La., and a resident of Houma, La., died Monday, February 23.
She is survived by her son, Dale Williams of Houma; grandsons, Harrison A. Wallis, Marques D. Wallis, Dale Calloway, Travis R. Burns, Dale Woodside and Joshua Woodside, all of Houma; and granddaughter, Danielle Woodside.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Calvin Williams; parents, Edward Daniels and Clara Celestine Daniels; daughter, Andrea L. Williams Wallis; brothers, Elton Daniels and James Daniels Jr.; and sisters, Irma Aubert and Beverly McGuire.
She was a dietician at Terrebonne General Medical Center and was a member of First Corinthian Baptist Church.
Visitation will be 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Saturday, February 28, at First Corinthian Baptist Church with a religious service to follow. Burial will be at Deweyville Cemetery.
Gertrude Geddes Willis-Terrebonne Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
