Jules Fanguy, Jr.

Jules Fanguy, Jr., 97, a native of Little Caillou, La. and resident of Larose, La. died Monday, November 12, 2007, at 3:15 p.m.

He is survived by two sons, Widley Fanguy and his wife Dorothy and Aaron Fanguy; two daughters, Hilda Guidry and Carolyn Cooley and her husband Freddie; one sister, Emma Naquin; 10 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; two step-great-grandchildren; and three step-great-great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Edwina Ledet Fanguy; his parents, Jules and Eloway Price Fanguy, Sr.; one son, Donald Fanguy and his wife Bessie; one son-in-law, Louis Guidry; six brothers, Clarence, Ivy, Freddie, Earl, Moise, and Roy Fanguy; and two sisters, Stella Luke and Irene Collins.

Jules was a devout Catholic and a parishioner of Our Lady of the Rosary Catholic Church. He was a member of the Holy Name Society and a church usher for many years.

He is buried in Our Lady of the Rosary Catholic Church Cemetery.
