Julie Marie Dufrene Chiasson, 80, a native of Bayou Gauche, La., and resident of Luling, La., died at 3:35 a.m. Saturday, July 2, 2011.
She is survived by her husband, Jesse Chiasson; sons, Richard (Linda), Adrian (Charlene), Brett (Ginger) and Terry (Perri) Chiasson; six grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; brother, Allen Dufrene; and foster sister, Earline Dufrene.
She was preceded in death by her parents, George and Clothilde Dufrene; sisters, Augustina Dufrene and Ida Toups; brothers, Joseph, George Jr. and Nolan Dufrene; and foster brother, Norbert Bourgeois.
Burial was at St. Mary Catholic Church Cemetery (Falgout)
