Katie Ann Savoie DeFelice, 64, a native of Golden Meadow, La., and a resident of Larose, La., was called to Heaven while surrounded by her family Friday, June 26.
Her memory now lives on in the hearts of her many loved ones, her devoted and loving husband of 46 years, Daniel DeFelice; mother, Jane O. Savoie; children, Daniall D. Callais, Jill D. Johnson and Jay DeFelice; siblings, Ray Savoie, Bobby Savoie, Bea S. Dantin, Jackie Savoie, Russell Savoie and Jerry Savoie; and grandchildren, Courtney Callais, Gavin Johnson and Mia Johnson.
She was preceded in death by her father, Ulysse Savoie; and sister, Elois S. Hebert.
She was a retired licensed floral designer having served the public for 29 years. She devoted her time to numerous community organizations and enjoyed gardening, Mardi Gras, traveling and large family gatherings.
Mass of Christian Burial was Wednesday, July 1, at Our Lady of the Rosary Catholic Church in Larose with entombment at Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery in Cut Off, La.
Falgout Funeral Home in Galliano, La., is in charge of the arrangements.
