Kayla LaShawn Williams, 23, a native of Terrebonne Parish, La., and resident of Houma, La., died Friday, Feb. 11, 2011.
Kayla enjoyed listening to music.
She is survived by her mother, Irma Lee Simmons Williams; father, Jeffery Williams; brothers, Jeffery Jr. and JaAire Williams; sisters, Tierra Matthews and Kerry Hampton; aunts, Elesha Nichole and LaTia Sierra Williams; and cousin, James B. Small III.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Jamie L. Williams; one brother, Devonte Williams; one grandmother, Olivia “Henreen” Evans; and her grandfather, James “Cheackie” Williams
She is buried at Union Benevolent Cemetery. (Community)
