Kenneth James Ledet, 68, a native of Terrebonne Parish, La., and a resident of Houma, La., died Friday, Aug. 26, 2011.
Mr. Ledet was a former owner of L & H Electric until retirement and was a 29 year member of the Elks Association of Louisiana. He faithfully worked for every charitable endeavor of the elks. He was a great cook and served great Cajun food at the Elks State Conventions each year.
He is survived by his wife, Hazel Ledet; mother, Yvonne Ledet; sisters, Eurlie (Bobby) Williams, Gayle Ledet and Cathy Kohmann; three grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives.
He was preceded in death by his father, Druby Ledet; sister, Carolyn Lirette; and grandparents, Paul and Rosana Henry and Willis and Olivia Ledet.
Burial was at St. Francis Cemetery #2. (Chauvin)
