Kenny Alvin Jernigan Sr., 40, a native of Marrero, La., and resident of Houma, La., died at 8 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 3, 2011.
Mr. Jernigan loved to fish and hunt and paint and fix cars. He was a loving husband and father and will be sadly missed by all of his family and friends.
He is survived by his wife, Patty Campbell Jernigan; sons, Kenny Jr. and Logan Jernigan; daughter, Jamie Jernigan; mother, Willadean Parrish Jernigan; brothers, Thomas Jr. “Peanut” (Etta), Rex, Donald (Corie), Johnny (Jane), Rusty and Charles Jernigan; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, Thomas Ronald Jernigan Sr.; and one nephew, Brandon Paul Jernigan.
He is buried at St. Francis de Sales Cemetery No. 2. (Chauvin)
