Kiwanis keeping youngsters warm this winter

Kirk William “Kirky” Bonvillain Jr., 32, a native of Houma, La. and resident of Bourg, La., died at 2:30 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 12, 2006.
Visitation will be from 1 to 10 p.m. Friday and from 8 a.m. to funeral time Saturday at Chauvin Funeral Home. Mass will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at St. Ann Catholic Church, with burial in the church cemetery.
He is survived by his parents, Kirk W. Bonvillain Sr. and Debbie Daigle Bonvillain; two sons, Kirk Trey William Bonvillain III and Taylor Jordan Bonvillain; one brother, Kevin Bonvillain; one sister, Kim Bonvillain; his grandmother, Betty Bates; his godfather, Clifford Ledet; his godmother, Carolyn Smoskie; his godchildren, Joei Vendette and Jade Bonvillain; his nephews, Gagi Bonvillain, Dillion Trahan and Dra’ Trahan; and aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Carol Lee Bonvillain and Rose Lee Ledet Chelette; his great-grandparents, William and Mabel Ledet and Lee and Mage Bonvillain and four cousins.
He was a rigger with Oil States.
