LSU baseball team fails to take advantage of great opportunity against Auburn

Kobie Adam Verdin, 4, a native and resident of Pointe-aux-Chenes, LA., died Thursday, April 5, 2007.
Visitation will be from 8 a.m. to midnight Tuesday and from 8 a.m. to funeral time Wednesday at My Father’s House Church “Pastor Keith Naquin Church.” Service will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the church. Burial will be in the St. Charles Borromeo Cemetery in Pointe-aux-Chenes.
He is survived by his parents, Sandra Verdin and Derrick Matherne; his stepmother, Cherie Matherne; one brother, Kameron Verdin; two sisters, Isabella Matherne and Calli Verdin; his grandparents, Cherry “Do” and Irene Verdin and Louverta “Lou Lou” Dardar; his step-grandmother, Shirley Crochet; his great-grandparents, Alice and Nelson Verdin, Nazia and Samuel Dardar, Albert Dardar and Norma Naquin; his uncles, Robert Verdin and wife, Daphne, Chris Verdin, David Verdin and Raymond and Trevor Dardar; his aunts, Stacey Verdin, Terry Dardar and husband, Jerry “Parrin,” Ophelia Verdin, Kristin Matherne and companion, Gabriel Verdin, and Tina Marie Boquet; and numerous great aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Buddy Matherne; and his great-grandparents, Georgia Verdin, Sidney Verdin, and Enzie and Early Matherne.
He loved playing outside, on the computer and video games. He was a happy little boy.
