March 27, 2014Kristofor Paul Marcel, 33, a native and resident of Bayou Blue La., died Tuesday, March 18, 2014.
Mr. Marcel was a loving father, son, brother and uncle. He was a fun, loving and kind-hearted person who never met a stranger. He loved to play golf, go to the beach and fish. He was employed with Kenworth of south Louisiana.
He is survived by his mother, Wanda Marcel; children, Peyton and Alonna; brother, Kipp (Brooke) Marcel; grandmother, Vivian Haynes; companion, Carissa Gregoire; and best friend, Benny LeBoeuf.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Pierre and Elma Marcel and Herbert Haynes.
Visitation will be 5 to 9 p.m. Thursday, March 20, and 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. Friday, March 21, at Chauvin Funeral Home with services to follow. Burial will be at Garden of Memories Cemetery. (Chauvin)
