
Feinberg promises improvement for claimants

January 24, 2011Larry James Blanchard, 57, was born at Lackland Air Force Base in San Antonio, Texas, and was a resident of Houma, La., died Wednesday, Jan. 12, 2011.
Mr. Blanchard served in the U.S. Air Force in security, worked at Bendix Corporation as a proofreader in security, Trailmobile in New Orleans, La., in business affairs, and Midsouth in Houma as a manager and rental officer before founding, Body Elite Fitness Center in 1988. Larry was a mentor to many, a man of many talents, and his personality allowed him to never meet a stranger. He was kind, devoted and a positive presence in many lives. Larry was loved by many and will be missed by all.
He is survived by his wife, Nicole Lirette Blanchard; mother, Philomena Acosta Blanchard; son, Sgt. Beau Blanchard; daughter, Angela Blanchard; sisters, Linda (Dale) Krueger and Beverly (Michael Hogan) Kreisel; uncle, Paul Acosta; aunts, Rita Daigle and Rosella Chaisson; grandson, Sy Riggs; granddaughters, Carley Hebert and Chloe Blanchard; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his father, Master Sgt. Lawrence Blanchard; son, Eric Blanchard; infant brother, Lawrence Blanchard Jr.; maternal grandparents, Adras and Felicia Daigle Acosta; and paternal grandparents, Hector and Bernadette Blanchard.
A private burial will take place at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, contributions to your charity of choice would be preferred.
