Laura Mae Dufrene, 79, a native of Clovelly Farms, La., and resident of Cut Off, La., died at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 10, 2010.
Ms. Dufrene was Christian.
She is survived by her sons, Chester and Gary Dufrene; daughters, Stella (John) Adams, Jenny (Russell) Orgeron and Daphne (Tracy) Hebert; brothers, Jerry and William LeBouef; sisters, Mable Rouselle, Mildred Bernard, Nora Buquet, Lois Acousta and Dorothy Gaspard; 16 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Norman Anthony Dufrene; parents, Shelby and Bertha LeBouef; her adoptive parents, Ulysses and Gertie Guilliot; one daughter, Lisa Ann Dufrene; and one brother, Lawrence LeBouef.
She is buried at Sacred Heart Cemetery.
