Leatrice “Cookie” Jackson Cotton, 48, a native of Gretna, LA. and resident of Harvey, LA., died Monday, March 12, 2007.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, March 17, 2007 at D.W. Rhodes Funeral Home, 1020 Virgil St., in Gretna, with private interment.

She is survived by her husband, Willie Cotton Sr. of Harvey; her father, Nolan Jackson of Chesterfield, VA.; two sons, Willie Cotton Jr. of Harvey and Dorsett Cotton and wife, Kandies, of Westwego, LA.; two brothers, Oscar Gayle of Cut Off, LA. and Tony Jackson and wife, Jeanette, of Jacksonville, Fla.; and two sisters, Terror Thorne and husband, Ronald, of Chesterfield, VA., and Beatrice J. Manuel of Jacksonville.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Elouise Jackson; one brother, Stanley Gayle; and one sister, Linda Jackson.

Kennedy Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
