Ledora Marie Dusenberry Theriot, 81, a native and resident of Houma, La., died Wednesday, December 10, at 5:55 p.m.
She is survived by her sons, Kenneth M. Theriot, Robert J. Theriot and Xavier L. Theriot Jr.; daughters, Susan “Sue” Wright and Jessica Brignac; brother, Alcide Dusenberry Jr.; grandchildren, Thomas “T.J.” Wright, Kidd Theriot, Denise Plaisance, Xavier Theriot III, Brittany Brignac and Madelyn Brignac; and great-grandchildren, Zoe Theriot, Shaya Plaisance and Elisia Plaisance.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Xavier Lois Theriot Sr.; parents, Alcide Dusenberry and Maggie LeBlanc Dusenberry; brothers, William J. “Slim” Dusenberry and Wilbert P. Dusenberry; and grandchild, Shane Wright.
She loved spending time with her grandchildren, traveling, playing bingo, fishing and visiting with friends at the Shady Acres Senior Center.
Visitation will be 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday, December 14, and 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Monday, December 15, at Falgout Funeral Home in Houma. Mass will be at 11 a.m. Monday at St. Bernadette Catholic Church with burial at St. Francis #2 Cemetery.
Falgout Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
