Leona Anderson Duncan, 71, a native of St. James Parish, La., and resident of Thibodaux, La., died at 11:31 p.m. Thursday, March 10, 2011.
She is survived by her husband, Emanuel Duncan Sr.; children, Emanuel Jr., Larry, Glenda, Dwayne, Deanna and Herman Duncan, Gail Barber, Delores Duncan-White and Glorianell Harrison; siblings, Viola Wilson, Audrey Williams, and Yvonne and Wilbert Sr. Anderson; 11 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Camellia and Joseph Anderson Sr.; and siblings, the Rev. Alfred, Joseph Jr. and Harry Sr., Annie Mae Starks, Olevia McBride and Rose Duncan.
She is buried at Morning Star Baptist Church. (Landry’s)
