Public input sought on state’s coastal plan
August 8, 2011Leona Gradley Walters, 60, a native and resident of Franklin, La., died at 11:58 p.m. Sunday, July 31, 2011.
She is survived by her sons, Anthony, Albert III, Micheal, Christopher and Travis Walters; daughter, Jeanette (McKinley) Gabriel; brothers, Freddie Williams and Calvin, Leo Jr. and Raymond Gradley; sisters, Margarite Gash, Edora Mitchell, Carolyn Small and Hilda Adams; six grandchildren; and a host of relatives and friends.
Visitation will be 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 6, at St. Joseph Baptist Church with services to follow. Burial will be at the Macedonia Baptist Cemetery in Ashton, La. (Jones)
