Leona St. Germain Lathrop, 92, a native of Lake Verret, La., and resident of Golden Meadow, La., died Thursday, Nov. 26, 2015.
Mrs. Lathrop loved God, her family and her church, where she served as a janitor for almost 50 years. She was a great cook and loved feeding everyone.
Mrs. Lathrop is survived by her son, Lorris (Iris) Lathrop, Jr.; daughters, Lois (Norman) Rousse and Lorra (Huey) Richard; 11 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.
Burial is at Cheramie Cemetery.
