Leonida Marie Pitre, 87, a native of Terrebonne Parish, La., and resident of Houma, La., died at 1:55 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 14, 2011.
Mrs. Pitre was a parishioner of St. Bernadette Soubirous Catholic Church.
She is survived by her husband, Horace Pitre Sr.; sons, Horace Jr. (Nancy) and Chris Sr. Pitre; daughters, Eva (Larry) Eschete, Mary Babin and Brenda Pitre; brother, Richard Exnicious; 12 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Louis and Eva Exnicious; son, Jodi Pitre; brothers, Louis and Irby Exnicious; and sister, Evelyn Leonard.
Burial was at Southdown Cemetery. (Chauvin)
