Lila Dale Plake, 74, a native of Columbia, La., and resident of Montegut, La., died Saturday, August 11, 2007, at 3:30 p.m.
She is survived by her husband, Charles Wilfred Plake; her mother, Carmen Ballou; three sons, Phillip Moreno and his wife Pam, Joseph Moreno, and Michal Plake; four daughters, Nancy Mitchell, Victoria Billiot and her husband Harold, Wilma Plake, and Naomi Deogracias and her husband Ricky; three brothers, Troxel Ballou, Fred Price, and Orville Dashileds; and two sisters, Sharon Ballou and Marsha Ballou; 24 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her father, Walter Ballou; one son, Thomas Moreno; and one daughter, Anita Moreno.
Lila was a member of Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witness. She was a wife, mother, and grandmother.
Visitation is Monday, August 13, 2007, from 6:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m. and Tuesday, August 14, 2007, from 8:00 a.m. until 10:00 a.m., with the funeral to follow at Falgout Funeral Home in Houma, La. She will be buried in Garden of Memories Cemetery.
