Lillie Banks

Lillie Mae Banks, 80, a native of Freeport, TX., and resident of Gonzales, LA. and long-time resident of Thibodaux, LA., died at 8:30 p.m. Tuesday, April 17, 2007.

Visitation will be from 8 a.m. to funeral time Saturday at St. Joseph Co-Cathedral in Thibodaux. Mass will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the church. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

She is survived by one son, Logan Banks; two daughters, Lillette Aptaker and Denella Freet; one brother, Richard Vallot; six grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Horace L. Banks Sr.; her parents, Osey and Beulah Vallot; one daughter, Celia Steger; and two brothers, James Osey Vallot and Victor Vallot.

Landry’s Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
