Lillie “Belle” Daniels, 84, a native of Monticello, Ms., and a resident of Houma, La., died at 11:51 a.m. Wednesday, July 16.
She is survived by one son, Robert H. Daniels; two daughters, Mary D. Foret and Nancy D. Quick; one brother, Harold W. McWilliams; one sister, Vennie Chandler; 14 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Roy Daniels; her parents, James McWilliams and Julia V. McWilliams; one son, R.H. Daniels; one daughter, Jane Bergeron; two brothers; three sisters; and one granddaughter, Dawn Angela Cancienne.
She was a homemaker, a former waitress of F.W. Woolsworth and a former member of First Baptist Church of Gray, La.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to Christ Baptist in Houma.
Visitation will be 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday, July 22, and 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. Wednesday, July 23, at Samart Funeral Home of Houma with a religious service to follow. She will be buried at Garden of Memories Cemetery in Gray.
