April 28, 2011Linda Gail Rosser Pitre, a native of Sanford, N.C., and resident of Houma, La., died Sunday, April 24, 2011.
Mrs. Pitre was a licensed cosmetologist. She loved to shop and spend time with family and friends.
She is survived by her husband, Glynn Pitre; sons, James “Jay” (Shelly) and Brian Whitaker; two grandsons, Jake and Tyler Whitaker; one granddaughter, Morgan Whitaker; mother, Inez Wallace Rosser; brothers, Grayson “Hobo” (Tersia), James III “Timmy” Rosser and Donald Davis; numerous nieces, nephews, grand nieces and grand nephews; in-laws, Floyd and Carmel Pitre; brother-in-law, Richard Pitre; and sister-in-law, Barbara Pitre Liner.
She was preceded in death by her father, James Worthy Rosser II; sisters, Diane Norton and Kaye Davis; and brother Larry Davis.
She is buried at St. Francis de Sales Cemetery No. 2. (Chauvin)
