Liz “Nannie” Bischoff, 86, a native of Cistern, Texas, and resident of Houma, La., died Thursday, Dec. 9, 2010.
She is survived by her daughter, Peggy (Joe) Simmons; son-in-law, Jerry Benton; brother, John (Maxine) Breitschopf; 12 grandchildren, Robin and Barry Wurzel, Jason and Stephanie Benton, Holly and Rene’ Andrepont, Seth and Aubrey Benton, and David, Natalie, Brody and Darla Simmons; 21 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Bischoff; parents, John and Eula Stolle Breitschopf; one daughter, Lillian Benton; one grandson, Jeffrey Simmons; and one sister, Lillian Breitschopf.
Interment will be at a later date in New Braunfels, Texas.
