Lois Augustine Hebert North, 86,a native of Houma, La., and a resident of Thibodaux, La., died Sunday, March 15, at 4:54 p.m.
She is survived by her daughter, Andrea North Sampey and husband James of Thibodaux; brother, Arden Hebert of New Orleans, La.; grandchildren, Danielle Sampey of Houston, Tx., Dawn Sampey Hrinevich of Houston, and Kylan Sampey of Houston; and great-grandchildren, B.J. Hrinevich, Alex Hrinevich, Joseph Hrinevich, Jenna Bryant, Jesse Bryant, Andrew Sampey and Catherine Sampey.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Amor Andrew North; parents, Aurelie Joseph Hebert and Augustine Naquin Hebert; brothers, Webbyrun Hebert, Hered Hebert, Reis Hebert, Earl Hebert and Ivel Hebert; and sisters, Beulah H. Dupre, Pansy H. LeBlanc, Eoria H. Dugas and Cynthia H. Rhodes.
She was a beautician and an Auxiliary Member of the Legion of Mary of Maria Immacolata Church for 20 years.
Visitation will be 1 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, March 17, at St. Francis de Sales Cathedral with the funeral service to follow. Burial will be at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Cemetery.
Chauvin Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
