Lois James, 63, a native of Labadieville, La., and a resident of Thibodaux, La., died Sunday, February 8, at Mason Deville Nursing Home in Houma, La.
She is survived by her husband, Dalton James of Thibodaux; daughter, Della Rohilliard Lee of Thibodaux; son, Murphy Rohilliard Jr. of Atlanta, Ga.; 23 stepchildren; brothers, Raymond Thomas Sr. and Theodore Thomas, both of Labadieville, La.; three grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. ,
She was preceded in death by her parents, Charley and Suvelia Thomas; and sister, Vivian Thomas.
She was a member of St. Mark Baptist Church. Her hobbies included fishing.
Visitation will be 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday, February 13, at St. Mark Baptist Church in Labadieville with a religious service to follow. Burial will be at the church cemetery.
Kennedy Funeral Home of Raceland, La., is in charge of the arrangements.
