Louis Henry Nevers, 68, a native of Houma, La., and a resident of Terrebonne, died Friday, April 4, at 11:25 p.m.
Visitation will be 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Saturday, April 12, at New Mt. Pilgrim Baptist Church with a religious service to follow. He will be buried at Union Benevolent Cemetery.
He is survived by his daughter, Lila Jones Weaver of Detroit; and brother, Thomas Parker of Sacramento, Ca.
He was preceded in death by his parents, James Nevers and Louise Gills; his stepmother, Emma Steward Nevers; brothers, James, Freddie and Alter Nevers and Earl Billizon; and sisters, Gustave, Louise, Rebecca and Elizabeth Nevers, Odelia Wilkerson, Dorothy Lewis, Gloria Campbell and Doretha Dennis.
He was a member of New Mt. Pilgrim Baptist Church.
Gertrude Geddes Willis-Terrebonne Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
