Louis “Luigi” Luciano Lusco, 71, a native of Houma, La., and resident of Jefferson, La., died Monday, August 13, 2007.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Dugas Lusco; one son, Louis Luciano Lusco II; one daughter, Linette Lucina Lusco; one brother, Sam Lusco; one sister, Annette Melum; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Salvatore Lusco and Josephine Sagona Lusco; and one brother, Ignatius Lusco.
Louis was a devout Catholic and a parishioner of Mater Dolorosa Catholic Church in New Orleans, la. He was retired with the New Orleans Sewage and Water Board and was a U.S. Army veteran. He was a member of the Italian American Marching Club, Greater New Orleans Italian Cultural Society and enjoyed woodworking.
He is buried in St. Francis de Sales Cemetery No. 1 in Houma.
Chauvin Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
