Louran McQuaid Sr., 90, a native of Mt. Pulaski, Ill., and resident of Westworth Village, Texas, died Monday, July 12, 2010.
Mr. McQuaid served five years in the 3rd Armored Division in WWII. He was a member of the Thibodaux Amateur Club, Lafourche Masonic Lodge #429 F & AM and Bayou Fellowship Masonic Lodge #484.
He is survived by his sons, Louran “L.D.” (Cheryl) McQuaid Jr.; sister, Mildred Brown; two grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Meridith Alario McQuaid; parents, James and Wilma Drobish McQuaid; and one sister, Margaret Tozun.
He is buried at Our Lady of Prompt Succor Cemetery in Golden Meadow, La.
