Loyce “Lois” H. Matherne, 64, a native and resident of Cut Off, La., died Monday, March 16, at 5:55 p.m.
She is survived by her husband of 47 years, Norris “Nu” Matherne; son, Mark Matherne and fiance, Rosalie Cantrelle; brothers, Tony, Huey and Ronald Hebert; sisters, Gloria Griffin, Susan Bychurch, Deanna Orgeron, Lucy Hebert, Connie Hebert and Marcia Bruce; son-in-law, Michael Ledet; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Whitney and Evelyn Dufren Hebert; son, Kim Matherne; daughter, Melissa Ledet; brothers, Eldon, Weldon and Keith Hebert; and sister, Carolyn Hebert.
She was a parishioner of Sacred Heart Catholic Church.
Burial was at Sacred Heart Catholic Church Cemetery in Cut Off.
Samart-Mothe Funeral Home of Cut Off is in charge of the arrangements.
