Lucille London Cost, 75, a native of St. James, La., and a resident of Donaldsonville, La., died at her home Monday, September 29.
She is survived by her husband, Sidney Cost of Donaldsonville; four daughters, Janice C. Williams and Sandra Cost of Donaldsonville, Iris Cost of Baton Rouge, La., and Lisa Moore and husband Durwood Sr. of Cedar Park, Tx.; two sons, James Ayo and wife Mazie of Baton Rouge and Sidney Henry and wife Jean of Houston, Tx.; two sisters, Helen L. Dotson of New Orleans, La., and Evelyn L. Joseph of Donaldsonville; one brother, James London of Newark, N.J.; 13 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; one brother-in-law, Albert Cost and wife Alice of Oakland, Ca.; and two sisters-in-law, Brenda Cost of Donaldsonville and Azalea Evelyn Cost of Florence, S.C.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Samuel and Evelyn Augusta London; four brothers; and three sisters.
Visitation will be 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Friday, October 3, at Williams and Southall Funeral Home in Donaldsonville and 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Saturday, October 4, at Mt. Pilgrim Baptist Church in Donaldsonville with a religious service to follow. She will be buried at Mt. Moriah Baptist Church Cemetery in Abend.
Williams and Southall Funeral Home of Donaldsonville is in charge of the arrangements.
