Lula Thomas , 58, a native and resident of Thibodaux, La., died Thursday, March 20, at 10:57 a.m. at Leonard Chabert Medical Center in Houma, La.
She is survived by her devoted companion, Wilford Adams of Thibodaux; sons, Barrel Thomas and Kendall Thomas of Thibodaux; daughter, Felicia Thomas of Thibodaux; brothers, Wilbert Thomas and Lionel Thomas of Raceland, La.; sisters, Evola Crawford of New Orleans, La. and Shirley Hampton of Thibodaux; and four grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Harry Thomas and Eldora Thomas; sister, Ledora Thomas, brother, Carol Thomas; and grandparents, Ben and Stella Thomas.
She was a member of St. Paul Baptist Church and served on the Deaconess Board. Her hobbies included taking care of her grandchildren.
Visitation will be 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Tuesday, March 25, at St. Paul Baptist Church at Lafourche Crossing (Thibodaux) with a religious service to follow. She will be buried at the church cemetery.
Kennedy Funeral Home of Raceland is in charge of the arrangements.
