Lydie Ordogne Uzee, 89, a native of the St. Charles Community, La., and a resident of Raceland, La., died Sunday, August 10.
She is survived by her son, Barry Uzee; daughter, Kay and husband Ronnie Maxwell; sister, Irene Claudet; seven grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Larry Uzee; parents, Leed Ordogne and Matilda Borne Ordogne; daughter-in-law, Drue McHugh Uzee; and sisters, Solange Breaux, Mildred Dacey and Inez Melancon.
She was Catholic.
Visitation will be 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. Tuesday, August 12, at St. Hillary Church with the funeral to follow. She will be buried at St. Joseph Cemetery in Thibodaux, La.
Samart-Mothe Funeral Home of Raceland is in charge of the arrangements.
