Mabel LeBlanc Use’, born and raised at Southdown Plantation and a resident of Schriever, La. died Thursday, May 14, at 10:25 a.m.
She is survived by her husband of 58 years, Robert C. Use’; daughter, Chris Use’ Stoll and husband Karl of Bayou Blue, La., and Dionne Use’ Blanchard and husband Robert A. Blanchard, Jr. of Supreme; sisters, Maudrey LeBlanc Dugas, Rosemary LeBlanc Boudreaux and Agnes LeBlanc Stanley; brother, Morris LeBlanc; grandchildren, Marc Stoll of Oklahoma City and Jennifer LeBlanc Rodrigue and husband Don Paul Rodrigue, Jr.; great-grandchildren, Madelyn and Sara.
She is preceded in death by her parents, John Marie LeBlanc and Elodie Bonvillain; brothers, Alvin and Elphy LeBlanc; sisters, Leona LeBlanc Boudreaux and Ollie LeBlanc Bonvillain and half-brothers, Freddie, John, Van and Wilfred LeBlanc.
Mrs. Use’ was a homemaker. She was a Catholic and parishioner of St. Bridget Catholic Church.
Visitation will be 9:00 to 11 a.m. Saturday, May 16, at St. Bridget Catholic Church in Schriever, La with Mass of Christian Burial to follow. Burial will be at the church cemetery.
The family would like to give a special thanks to Thibodaux Regional Medical Center, West Jefferson Medical Center and Gulf States LTAC.
