Mabel Oncale Trosclair, 83, a native and resident of Chackbay, La., died Sunday, July 5, at 8 p.m.
She is survived by her son, Burton “Poto” Joseph Trosclair; daughter, Dale Trosclair Boudreaux; eight grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Willis “Poto” Trosclair; parents, Joseph Oncale and Elodie Bourgeois Oncale; brothers, Elmo Oncale, Earl “Jack” Oncale and Clarence Oncale; and sister, Edmay Thibodaux.
Visitation will be 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. Tuesday, July 7, at Thibodaux Funeral Home and 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. Wednesday, July 8, at Our Lady of Prompt Succor in Chackbay. Mass will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the church with burial at the church cemetery.
Thibodaux Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
