Mable Neal Naquin, 93, a native of Pointe-aux-Chenes, La., and a resident of Montegut, La., died Tuesday, February 5, 2008, at 11:15 p.m.
She is survived by her sons, Royce Naquin and wife, Gloria, of Houma, La., and Russell Naquin and wife, Beverly, of Pointe-aux-Chenes; brother, Jerry W. Neal of Pointe-aux-Chenes; six grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jerome Butler Naquin; her parents, Joseph Charles Neal and Vagnolia Bergeron Neal; brothers, Howard, Ira, Malvin, John, Edward, Calvin and Dewey Neal; and sisters, Magnolia Neal and Theresa Neal.
Mable was a homemaker and a parishioner of St. Charles Catholic Church.
Visitation will be 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Saturday, February 9, 2008, at St. Charles Catholic Church with mass to follow. She will be buried in the church cemetery.
Chauvin Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
