Madonna Torres, 81, a native of Chackbay, La., and resident of Thibodaux, La., died at 7:01 p.m. Saturday, June 18, 2011.
She is survived by her sons, Francis and Thad Torres; daughter, Linda Torres; and one grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ferdinand Torres; parents, Emile and Aurelie Mars; brothers, Wichington, Garfield, Hadley, Wilfred and Bill Mars; and sisters, Sadie Mars, Clara Galliano and Nacie Thibodaux.
Visitation will be 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Monday, June 20 at Landry’s Funeral Home and 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. Tuesday, June 21 at St. John Catholic Church. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the church with burial to follow at the church cemetery. (Landry’s)
