Majorie “May Maw” Alario, 87, a native of the St. Charles community and a resident of Cut Off, La., died Wednesday, September 10, at 6:32 p.m.

She is survived by her son, Terry Alario and wife Elaine; daughter, Fay Rousse; brother, Joe “Neg” Foret; grandchildren, Landie Kiger, Joey Rousse, Lettie Jambon, Pete Alario, Nat Alario and Vicky Cox; 18 great-grandchildren; and 12 great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Landon Alario; parents, Joseph and Edna Boudreaux Foret; sister, Noelie “Chick” Adams; grandchildren, Scott and Debbie Rousse; and son-in-law, Leroy “Yank” Rousse.

She was a parishioner of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Cut Off.

She was buried at Cheramie Cemetery in Galliano, La.
