January 28, 2010Malvina J. Bourg, 74, a native of Grand Caillou, La., and resident of Baton Rouge, La., died Sunday, Jan. 17, 2010.
Mrs. Bourg was a professional seamstress for several Mardi Gras krewes, weddings and other events. A die-hard Saints fan, she was also an avid reader.
She is survived by her son, Faron (Shelia) Bourg; daughters, Laurel (Eric) Kitto and Merril (Cary) Benes; seven grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and brothers, Oscar (Lula Mae) and Wilson Bourg.
She is buried at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Catholic Church Cemetery.
