Manda “Mandy” Marie Blanchard Gautreaux, 82, a native and resident of Chauvin, La., died Monday, April 21, 2014.
Mrs. Gautreaux enjoyed going to the Chauvin Senior Citizens Center and participating in all their activities. She really enjoyed playing bingo, crocheting and spending time with her nieces, nephews, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchild.
She is survived by her sons, Donald (Mary), Michael, Kenneth and Jay (Susan) Gautreaux; daughter, Anita Gautreaux; brothers, Durey, Ronnie (Margaret) and Raymond (Shirley) Blanchard; 10 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Chester and Louise Blanchard; husband, Joseph Gautreaux; brothers, Chester and Cyrus Blanchard; sisters, Leona Pellegrin and Mildred Dupre; and one grandchild.
Visitation will be 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. Friday, April 25, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Chauvin with Mass of Christian Burial to follow. Burial will be at the church cemetery. (Chauvin)
