November 22, 2011Manuel Joseph Rodriguez, 86, a native of Gheens, La., and resident of Montegut, La., died at 5:15 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 20, 2011.
He is survived by his son, Gary Rodriguez; daughter, Wendy (Lester) Huber; sister, Joyce LeBouf; 15 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; and 12 great-great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Malvina Rodriguez; parents, Emanuel and Louisianne Rodriguez; son, Richard Rodriguez; brothers, Clifton, Eugene, Amos, Elson and Freddie; and sister, Marie Falgout.
Visitation will be 9 to 11 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 23, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Montegut, La., with Mass of Christian Burial to follow. Burial will be at the church cemetery. (Samart)
