Manuel Villar, 84, a long time resident of Morgan City, La., died Friday, Oct. 15, 2010 at Teche Regional Hospital.
Mr. Villar served in the Spanish Military prior to emigrating to the United States. He worked as a “fitter” in the oilfield, but was a “jack of all trades.”
He is survived by his wife, Maria del Carmen Martinez Villar; daughters, Maria (Jose) Gonzalez and Ana (Ricky) Aucoin; four grandchildren; Alejandro (Jenny) Gonzalez, Erik (Jocelyn) Aucoin, Kristy Gonzalez and Brooke (Samuel) Allen; and four great-grandchildren, Ava Allen, Baylor Allen, Audrey Gonzalez and Tuesday Aucoin.
He is buried at Morgan City Cemetery.
