June 13, 2011Marie Lirette Schmill, 87, a native and resident of Boutte, La., died at 1:45 p.m. Sunday, June 5, 2011.
Ms. Schmill was a parishioner of St. Anthony Catholic Church.
She is survived by her sons, Dalton (Marilyn), Russell (Vickey), Mitchell (Susan) and Kenneth (Jill) Schmill; daughter, Linda (Curtis) Dufrene; sister, Etta Lockbaum; 16 grandchildren; and 27 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Percy Schmill; parents, Wilfred and Lydia Lirette; sons, Larry and David Schmill; brother, Clifton Lirette; and sister, Elma Griffin.
Burial was at St. Charles Cemetery in Luling. (Falgout)
